Climbing Brunelleschi's Dome

A group of students went with Lillian to climb Brunelleschi's Dome the other day. The dome of the Duomo was completed in 1436. The students climbed all 463 steps to the top to see the stunning views of Florence. The climb also entailed walking sideways between the outside and inside layers of the dome (which although is somewhat claustrophobic, is definitely a fun experience) as well as seeing Vasari's frescos face to face on the inside section.
